-create new knowledge in response to healthcare community needs in terms of innovative interventions in nursing and facilitate the establishment of these new practices within the healthcare community
-develop and lead a research team in nursing care development and evaluation. The team must be dynamic, innovative and highly competitive at the national and international level
-make this team part of GRISIM, thereby fostering the exchange, transfer and implementation of new knowledge on innovative and advanced nursing care
-contribute to instituting a rigorous academic structure within hospital centres and university-affiliated hospital centres (UHCs, AUHCs), institutes, and community health and social services centres (CSSSs) in order to carry out new research projects in the field within the purview of the Chair, evaluate them, and implement them subsequently
-exercise leadership and assume the role of scientific mentor with decision makers and other stakeholders in evaluating and establishing new nursing care practices in order to develop a culture of scientific evaluation within healthcare administrations
-as part of GRISIM,
build innovative research capability in the field of new nursing
care, its evaluation and its implementation by establishing a program
for the training of highly qualified personnel. This program could
lead to university degrees (Master's and Doctorate) or offer postdoctoral
training to Ph.D. or professional diploma holders
-share the Chair’s research results with other healthcare stakeholders, with a view to exchanging and transferring knowledge that will benefit the scientific community, the healthcare network, and end-users and that will contribute to generating innovative ideas in the field
